What this script does:
Makes YouTube load faster and use less resources
Prefetches pages when you hover over links for instant loading
Reduces CPU and GPU usage by disabling animations
Removes heavy UI elements to speed up the site
Lets you set default video quality to prevent buffering
Blocks non-essential requests to save bandwidth
Gives you options to hide comments, sidebar, or notifications
Some changes need page refresh to take effect
Does not bypass YouTube Premium paywalls
Free to use and modify (MIT licensed)

New in version 3.1:
Now has compatibility mode to work with other YouTube scripts
You can disable features that conflict with other userscripts
Works together with YouTube Super Assistant
Choose which speed improvements to keep or disable
Better for people using multiple YouTube scripts at same time
Trade-off: disabling features means less performance boost but better compatibility
