Description:

This script ensures that all YouTube videos play at the user's selected speed.

Features:

  • Remembers your last playback speed.
  • Automatically sets playback speed to your choice.
  • Hijacks the custom speed slider to offer up to 8x speed. [New]

Notes:

  • Works with YouTube in all languages.
  • Works with YouTube videos that are embedded in other sites.
  • Shorts are currently not supported.

Compatibility:

  • Explicit support for Apple systems/software (macOS/iPadOS/iOS) is not provided. The script may still work, but do not be surprised if it doesn't.
