ChatGPT Chat Cloner lets you easily extract and copy the full text of any ChatGPT conversation into clean, readable text.

What it does

This extension allows you to continue your ChatGPT chats even if your session has expired or reached its message limit.
You can then paste the conversation back into a new ChatGPT chat to resume seamlessly.

  • Automatic extraction — detects and converts current ChatGPT chats.
  • Manual loader — load chats directly from a shared link.
  • Clean output — removes UI clutter and formatting noise.
  • Copy to clipboard — one click to copy entire conversation text.
  • Built-in help panel — simple guidance inside the extension itself.

Use case

If your ChatGPT conversation expires or hits a message limit, this tool lets you save the chat log and continue it in a fresh session.

Notes

  • The URL-based loader currently does not work. If you know how to fix it, please contact WildPinkRice or submit a fix yourself.
  • The project is open source — feel free to modify or improve it.
  • Best results when the ChatGPT page is fully loaded before cloning.
